Robin Stapler is an American former television actress and fitness educator best known for her appearances in popular television series and her previous marriage to actor, comedian, and television host Alfonso Ribeiro. Although her relationship with Ribeiro brought her additional public attention, Stapler had established her own professional identity through acting roles in American television during the 1990s and early 2000s.
Her screen credits include Star Trek: Voyager, Martin, Diagnosis Murder, and Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction. These appearances reflect a career built around supporting roles and guest performances rather than headline-making celebrity projects.
Stapler married Alfonso Ribeiro in January 2002, and the couple welcomed a daughter, Sienna Ribeiro, in 2003. Their marriage subsequently ended in divorce. Since stepping away from regular television acting, Stapler has also been associated with fitness and wellness.
This article explores Robin Stapler’s biography, acting career, relationship with Alfonso Ribeiro, family background, professional transition, and financial information, distinguishing documented facts from unverified online claims.

Robin Stapler’s Background and Early Professional Interests
Robin Stapler’s early life is less extensively documented than her television career and marriage. Unlike performers whose childhood experiences have been covered through interviews, memoirs, or detailed professional biographies, Stapler has maintained a comparatively limited public biographical record.
Her exact date of birth, birthplace, family background, and educational qualifications have not been established through sufficiently reliable public documentation. Consequently, assigning her a specific age in 2026 or identifying particular schools would introduce unnecessary uncertainty.
What can be discussed with greater confidence is her professional involvement in American television during the 1990s.
Entering the American Television Industry
The 1990s television industry offered performers opportunities across network sitcoms, science-fiction programs, crime dramas, and anthology series. Guest appearances were an established route for actors seeking experience and professional recognition.
Stapler’s documented credits place her within this environment.
Her work involved appearing in different television formats rather than becoming tied to one long-running character. Such roles required performers to adapt to established casts, production schedules, and storytelling styles.
Although detailed information about her earliest auditions and professional training is limited, her later television appearances show she secured work across multiple productions.
A Career Defined by Supporting Performances
Television actors do not always become household names, even when their work appears in widely recognized programs.
Supporting performers contribute to individual episodes, helping established characters and storylines develop. Their appearances may be relatively brief, but these roles form an important part of television production.
Stapler’s career fits this pattern.
Rather than relying on an extensive filmography or major leading roles, her professional history is most clearly represented by a selection of television acting credits.
Her later public association with Alfonso Ribeiro should therefore be understood alongside her own acting experience.
From Television Guest Roles to Recognizable Screen Appearances
Robin Stapler’s acting career included appearances in several television productions that reached different audiences.
Her credits span comedy, science fiction, crime-related drama, and factual-style entertainment. This variety provides a clearer picture of her professional experience than describing her solely as a celebrity’s former spouse.
Appearance in Martin
One of the television productions associated with Stapler’s career is Martin, the American sitcom starring comedian and actor Martin Lawrence.
The program aired from 1992 to 1997 and became an influential part of American television comedy during the decade.
Its stories centered on Martin Payne, his relationships, friendships, and everyday experiences.
For supporting actors, appearing in an established sitcom offered experience working within a production built around fast-paced dialogue, comedic timing, and recurring characters.
Stapler’s connection to the series forms part of her television acting record, although it does not establish that she was a regular cast member.
Robin Stapler in Star Trek: Voyager
Another notable credit is Star Trek: Voyager, the science-fiction television series that aired from 1995 to 2001.
The program followed the crew of the USS Voyager as they attempted to return home after becoming stranded far from Federation space.
The series was part of the larger Star Trek franchise, which had already developed an international audience through earlier television programs and films.
Stapler’s Appearance in the production placed her within a well-established science-fiction franchise.
Guest performances in such programs differed considerably from sitcom acting. Science-fiction productions frequently involved specialized sets, elaborate costumes, technical dialogue, and stories shaped by unfamiliar fictional environments.
Her involvement illustrates the range of television genres represented in her screen credits.
Work on Diagnosis Murder
Stapler also appeared in Diagnosis Murder, the crime-drama television series starring Dick Van Dyke as Dr. Mark Sloan.
The program combined medical mysteries with criminal investigations and ran from 1993 to 2001.
Its episodic structure regularly introduced additional characters connected to individual investigations.
For guest actors, this format provided opportunities to contribute to self-contained stories without becoming permanent members of the principal cast.
Stapler’s credit on the program adds another established television production to her professional background.
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction
Another production associated with her acting career is Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction.
The anthology television series presented unusual stories and invited viewers to consider whether the events depicted were based on real incidents or fictional narratives.
Unlike programs centered on a consistent group of characters, anthologies often introduced new casts and situations.
This format allowed performers to portray characters within individual stories rather than maintaining a role across multiple seasons.
Stapler’s involvement in the series reflects another aspect of her television experience.
Meeting Alfonso Ribeiro Through Television
Stapler’s professional and personal lives intersected when she met Alfonso Ribeiro.
The two reportedly met in 1999 while working on the sitcom In the House.
Ribeiro was already a recognizable television performer, particularly through his portrayal of Carlton Banks in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
His professional career also included acting, dancing, and television presenting.
Their meeting eventually developed into a relationship and marriage, bringing Stapler greater attention beyond her individual acting credits.
Did Robin Stapler Receive Major Acting Awards?
No sufficiently reliable public record shows that Stapler received major individual television or film awards.
Her known career is more accurately characterized by guest appearances and supporting television work than by award-winning leading performances.
That distinction does not diminish the professional experience involved in appearing across different productions.
However, do not attribute awards, nominations, or commercial achievements to her without documentary evidence.
Her Career After Television Acting
Stapler is also described in biographical coverage as a fitness educator.
Her association with fitness suggests a professional direction beyond the entertainment industry, although detailed information about specific qualifications, business ownership, and current commercial projects remains limited.
No verified, comprehensive account of her transition from acting to fitness instruction is publicly available.
Similarly, without additional confirmation, no specific new acting role, television production, or major professional announcement can be confidently attributed to her for 2026.
Her documented acting work remains the clearest foundation for understanding her public career.
Robin Stapler’s Net Worth, Earnings, and Professional Activities
Questions about Robin Stapler’s net worth in 2026 frequently appear alongside searches about her former marriage and acting career.
However, no sufficiently reliable public financial disclosure establishes her current net worth.
Although celebrity biography websites sometimes publish estimated wealth figures, such numbers should not be treated as verified unless they are supported by credible financial evidence.
Income From Television Acting
Stapler’s documented professional activities include television acting.
Performers appearing in established television productions generally receive compensation under contracts negotiated for their work.
Depending on the production and contractual arrangements, television actors may also qualify for residual payments associated with subsequent broadcasts or distribution.
However, Stapler’s individual acting salaries, residual earnings, and contractual terms have not been publicly established through reliable documentation.
Consequently, it would be misleading to estimate her career earnings based on the popularity of the television programs in which she appeared.
Fitness and Wellness Activities
Stapler has also been associated with fitness and wellness education.
This professional interest represents a different field from her earlier television appearances.
Fitness professionals may earn income through instruction, coaching, educational services, or related commercial activities.
Nevertheless, these potential income channels do not establish Stapler’s personal income.
Her specific business revenue, professional contracts, and earnings from fitness-related activities have not been independently verified.
Does Robin Stapler Own Businesses or Investments?
Reliable public documentation does not establish a detailed investment portfolio, substantial real estate holdings, or a confirmed collection of business interests belonging to Stapler.
Claims about luxury properties, investment returns, or business valuations would therefore require stronger supporting evidence before publication.
Her financial position should also be considered independently of Alfonso Ribeiro’s career.
Being formerly married to a successful television personality does not establish an individual’s current wealth.
Robin Stapler’s Estimated Net Worth in 2026
Robin Stapler’s net worth remains unverified as of November 2026.
No dependable financial disclosure supports assigning her a specific dollar amount.
Her television career and reported fitness-related work establish professional experience, but they do not provide enough information to calculate her assets, liabilities, or overall financial position.
Marriage to Alfonso Ribeiro, Motherhood, and Private Life
Robin Stapler’s marriage to Alfonso Ribeiro remains one of the most widely discussed aspects of her biography.
Their relationship drew attention because Ribeiro was already a familiar figure in American entertainment.
Nevertheless, Stapler’s family life should be presented separately from assumptions about her professional identity or current personal circumstances.
How Robin Stapler Met Alfonso Ribeiro
Stapler and Ribeiro met in 1999 while working on the American sitcom In the House.
Ribeiro was associated with the program following his success on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Their professional connection developed into a personal relationship.
The couple subsequently married on January 20, 2002.
Their marriage brought together two people with experience working in American television, although Ribeiro maintained a considerably higher public profile.
Robin Stapler and Alfonso Ribeiro’s Divorce
After about four years of marriage, the relationship ended.
In August 2006, contemporary entertainment reporting documented Ribeiro’s divorce filing.
The proceedings cited irreconcilable differences.
Public acting records list the divorce as finalized on February 19, 2007.
This distinction explains why some accounts associate their separation with 2006 while others identify 2007 as the divorce year.
The most accurate description is that divorce proceedings began in 2006 and the marriage legally ended in 2007.
No one should attribute unverified personal motives or additional relationship details to either individual.
Their Daughter, Sienna Ribeiro
Robin Stapler and Alfonso Ribeiro share one daughter, Sienna Ribeiro.
Sienna has occasionally appeared in public coverage concerning her father’s family and entertainment career.
Her parents’ marriage and subsequent divorce form part of their publicly documented family history.
However, her private experiences, personal relationships, and everyday family circumstances should not be inferred from her parents’ celebrity status.
The relationship between Stapler and Ribeiro remains relevant to their biographies because they have children together.
Alfonso Ribeiro’s Later Family Life
Following his divorce from Stapler, Alfonso Ribeiro continued his entertainment career.
He later married Angela Unkrich in October 2012.
Ribeiro and Angela have three children together.
His professional work has included hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos and co-hosting Dancing with the Stars.
These developments belong to Ribeiro’s later biography and should not be confused with Stapler’s own career or relationship history.
Is Robin Stapler Married in 2026?
Stapler’s marriage to Alfonso Ribeiro is publicly documented, but this article has no reliable information confirming another marriage or a current spouse.
Therefore, her present relationship status should not be described as definitively married, single, or dating without credible confirmation.
Maintaining this distinction respects her privacy while avoiding unsupported celebrity gossip.
Robin Stapler’s Lifestyle and Public Presence
Compared with many television personalities, Stapler maintains a relatively limited public profile.
Her acting history and family connection to Ribeiro are better documented than her current lifestyle.
Reliable information is insufficient to establish details about her private residence, vehicles, luxury purchases, or personal property.
Similarly, without further documentation, no major charitable foundation or philanthropic initiative can be confidently attributed to her.
What remains clear is that her public identity includes professional acting experience, a documented family history, and an association with fitness and wellness.
Robin Stapler’s Acting Credits Beyond the 1990s
An additional detail deserves attention when discussing her professional history.
Public filmography records list the actress as Robin Michele Stewart, with Robin Stapler as an alternative professional name.
Those records include credits beyond her better-known 1990s appearances, including Red Ruby (2019), Acapulco (2021), and Transplant (2024).
These credits provide a fuller picture of her screen work and suggest that describing her acting career as having definitively ended in the early 2000s would be inaccurate.
Nevertheless, no new acting project for 2026 has been independently confirmed.
Her career is therefore best understood through the complete available filmography rather than assumptions about retirement.
